Our Custom Home Process

Maybe you’ve found your dream property but don’t know what house plan will fit. Maybe you’ve been in the market for a new home but you feel like you’re looking for a home that doesn’t seem to exist. Maybe you are an armchair home designer with a sketch on a napkin. Or maybe you are simply toying with the idea of building a new home. If you’re reading this, a custom home might be the best route to your dream home.

During our first meeting, we’ll spend time getting to know each other. We’ll ask questions to get a better sense of who you are, what you’re looking for, and how we can best meet your needs. Once we’re all on the same page, we will move on to Step Two: Design and Plan

Step two begins the process of putting your dream on paper. If you don’t have a piece of property or lot in mind, we begin by showing you a few we have to choose from. Once you’ve secured the lot, our team will work with you, an architect, and drafter to set the layout and floor plan of your home. We will work together to design a home that best fits the property you’ve chosen, fulfills your wish list, meets your budget, and hopefully exceeds your expectations.

We also offer 3D renderings of your home so you can get a better sense of the design of your home.

As the plan is finalized and approved, we will begin the work of setting the timeline and securing the subcontractors that will make your dreams a reality. We vet our subcontractors carefully. Not only do we work to ensure you get the best return on your investment with qualified, high quality craftsmanship, we also make certain that the build is done as safely and efficiently as possible.

Communication with our clients is an essential part of everything we do. Our team will work to maintain open communication on the ins and outs of construction. Once your build begins, you will get access to a secure online client portal where you can follow along with each step of the build from foundation to finishes. You can access your portal via the web or through our mobile app.

The excitement and joy we get from handing you the keys to your dream home is the best part of this process. We hope you love your home as much as we have enjoyed working with you to build it.

But our commit to you does not stop there. As you settle into live in your new home, your house “settles” too. We will work with you on any issue that may arise during the first year after your build is complete.
